We are looking for versatile team members who are ready to take on a variety of tasks, including cooking, food prep, taking orders, and running the register, all while engaging with our customers. This part-time position is ideal for individuals aged 17-24 with a flexible schedule. Hours will range from 15-20 per week.

Our goal is for The Change Wagon to be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. We will also be present at several community events throughout the year, which are typically held on the weekends. Our employees will sceduled anywhere from 9a-9pm depending on their shift and avaliability. We ask for flexibility on the weekends as well, to accommodate those special events.

We are a mobile food truck, bringing our services to different locations each day to better reach and serve our community. Centered in downtown North Wilkesboro, this is where we’ll begin and end each day’s journey. Our daily stops will take us to various areas around Wilkes, ensuring we can meet people where they are and provide the support they need. If we are not on the move, our home base is 907 Cherry St in North Wilkesboro.

We are looking for individuals to join us on our mission to combat food insecurity in Wilkes! The Change Wagon is a community food truck project on a mission to ensure that everybody eats, regardless of their financial means. We are the first of our kind in Wilkes County, so this is a totally new opportunity to serve the community of Wilkes!
